Step 5: Paying the semester fee
In general, studying at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg is free of charge. However, you have to pay a semester fee for each semester that you study here, which also includes the costs of the local transportation.
Normally the semester fee is paid through direct debit and you are able to find the necessary information on the MyOVGU website. In case of emergency you can pay the fee in cash at the "Barkasse" in building 6 room 22.
